ICEHOTEL

Located in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, the Icehotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighboring Torne River. The hotel’s ice rooms feature furniture and decor carved from ice, and its art suites are uniquely designed by commissioned international artists, making each suite ephemeral and never previously created.

Formerly rebuilt each year, the hotel is now open year-round and operates on solar power in the summer.
